The Best Things in Life are Free!

And so I set out to make a paper that represented the Lubbock art scene. Guess what! Lubbock is full of creative and productive artists. I truly enjoy writing about all of you and setting up the paper. Unfortunately the Llama could not get enough ads sold to cover publishing. So we closed the doors until another avenue opened up for us. We love the paper and are continuing to gather stories and information. So as we progress through the year I'll keep you informed.

Art for Charity

To help the fight for a breast cancer cure, I will send you a free drawing if you donate to the Susan G. Koman Foundation. Send me a copy of your donation slip and I will send you a free drawing. You can email me a copy to zitmobip.gmial.com or drop by the Traders Market on 84th and Ave L in Lubbock. I have a booth in the building open Saturday and Sunday from 10-5pm.

My mom has survived breast cancer. I am trying to do my part to help others survive and hopefully find a cure in the future. Even if you don't want a drawing donate and post about your story.

Thanks so much! I can't wait to hear from you all.
Peace,
Sarazann

8-1-08 Comment on the Star Comics Story

Hi all,
I just want to make it perfectly clear how truly awesome Robert Mora, owner of Star Comics, is. He bought the first ad in LLAMA Today. He's an inspiration to so many fans and creators. I've never heard anything bad about the guy and most people just say he so genuine and smart it's intimidating to be around him. I don't find him intimidating at all. He's a hard working guy with a lot of love for the art of comics and their creators. Go by his shop and pick up some indie comics that you can only find here in Lubbock, Texas.
Peace,
Sarazann
